ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for 7 cents of land in the petition mentioned survey number.

3. The petitioner's counsel takes me through the Peace Committee Resolution passed way back in the year 1994 and also the subsequent communication issued by the various revenue authorities.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would state that the property had been classified as "Tharisu" and that it has been entered in the prohibitory index and that even as per the peace committee meeting, the petitioner's husband Abdul Gafoor was only allowed to enjoy the property and that therefore, they cannot issue any patta for the same.

5. Without going into the merits of the matter, I direct the first respondent to pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2022 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
