PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue the individual patta in favour of the petitioner for his property at new Door No.16-1-132, Thalaiyari Ramasamy Street, Ward No.C, Block No.25, Town Survey No.100 in Natham S.No.590/1A-1A in Chinnamanur Municipality, Periyakulam District after rectifying the records in TSLR No.99 and 100 based on the representations dated 27.04.2021, 18.10.2021, and 12.01.2022.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue separate patta in his favour in respect of the property situate in S.No. 590/1A-1A in Chinnamanur Municipality, Periyakulam District, by considering the representations dated 27.04.2021, 18.10.2021, and 12.01.2022.

2.According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under registered sale deed, dated 16.07.2014. He submitted series of representations before the respondents seeking issuance of separate patta based on the sale deed. The same have not been considered till date. Hence, he has come before this Court.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader who appeared for the respondents would submit that pursuant to the representation submitted by the petitioner, the second respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.1306/2021/m5, dated 08.11.2022 already initiated enquiry and issued summons and the same will be completed within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to complete the proceedings initiated by him in Na.Ka.No.1306/2021/m5, dated 08.11.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties.
