ORDER

Since the respondent has already taken possession of the shop from the petitioner and the same has also been demolished by the respondent in order to construct a new building, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be granted liberty to apply for fresh allotment of shop(s), as and when the respondent issues a notification for allotment of shops. 2.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to apply for fresh allotment of shop(s), as and when the respondent issues notification for allotment of shops and the respondent shall consider the same, subjet to the availability of shops and subject to the fulfillment of the criteria laid down by the respondent for fresh allotment.

No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
