This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in the above case in Cr.No.47 of 2023 and file a final report.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, a case in Cr.No.47 of 2023 has been registered. In this case, investigation is almost completed. Hence, he seeks 1 month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and the respondent police also seeks 1 month time to file final report, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of 1 month from the date of this order. 2/4

4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
