ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue separate patta in respect of S.F.No.8/4A1A for an extent of 15 cents out of 0.62.40 ares, situated at Ariyamarakaadu Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, on the basis of petitioner's application dated 18.02.2026 within time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner claims right over the property in S.F. No. 8/4A1A to an extent of 15 cents. The larger extent belongs to the petitioner's vendor and respondents 4 to 12, and the property remains undivided. The petitioner has purchased an undivided share from one of the co-sharers and now, the petitioner is seeking to issue a separate patta.

In view of the above, the Court is is directing the official respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 18.02.2023 and to conduct an enquiry after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 4 to 12 and thereafter, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. If the co-sharers do not have any objection to the issuance of an individual patta, the same may be issued to the petitioner. However, if the co-sharers raise objections regarding identification or division of the property, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court for appropriate relief.
4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
