Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2020 and 19.07.2021 for granting patta for 15 cents of land in Survey No.167/20 for re-construct the petitioner's house located in Survey No.167/20, Nadupallatheru, Neyveli Vadapadhi, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, who is seeking for grant of patta to enable the petitioner to reconstruct the house.

2.Heard Mr.R.Alagumani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents .

3.It is seen from records that one Santha has made a representation to the respondents, seeking for grant of fresh assignment patta with respect to the same subject property. She https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.12714 of 2021 approached this Court by filing W.P.(MD).No.7640 of 2021. This Court while disposing of the writ petition by an order, dated 08.04.2021, directed the respondents to consider the representation along with any objections that may be made by the interested parties, who may also be claiming right over the subject property. 4.It is therefore clear from the above order that if the petitioner has any objection in granting the fresh assignment patta in favour of the said Santha, the same will be considered by the respondents, apart from considering the independent claim made by the petitioner for patta for the very same property. Except giving this clarity, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. 5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
