This Writ Petition has been filed,for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the disciplinary action initiated against the Petitioner in his Memo No.R.C.A4/4555/2016, dated 30.6.2016 within the time specified by this Court. .
2.Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The case of the petitioner is that the Petitioner was presently employed as Sub-Inspector of Survey in Madurai Corporation on deputation and he originally employed in the Survey and Settlement Department. Disciplinary action was initiated against the Petitioner on 30.06.2016 regarding the charge of concealment of the pendency of C.C.No.116 of 2011, on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court, Madurai at the time of filing application for TNPSC Examination, conducted during the year 2012 .The said case also ended in acquittal. The Petitioner has also submitted his explanation to the charges on 14.3.2017 and the enquiry was completed on 6.3.2018. But the disciplinary action initiated against the Petitioner was not yet disposed of. Hence, the petitioner is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
before this Court with the relief stated supra.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the authorities concerned is agreeable to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the Petitioner, within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the submission, the respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the Petitioner by the respondent on 30.6.2016 and to pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with the rules, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The decision shall be taken after giving an opportunity of hearing the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within the time stipulated by this Court, if there is no legal impediment to do so. 6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
