PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to ensure that the Disability certificates to victims of accident will be issued by the District Medical Board 1/4

without any loss of time as per the directions of this Court dated 25.11.2016 in C.M.A.No.2380/2018 and 428/2016.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct first respondent to ensure that the Disability certificates to victims of accident will be issued by the District Medical Board without any loss of time as per the directions of this Court dated 25.11.2016 in C.M.A.No.2380/2018 and 428/2016.

2. In this regard, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the procedure underwent changes and regarding issuance of disability certificates currently, the Board has been constituted every week and certificates will be issued periodically without causing any delay. The said position is also stated in the counter affidavit. 2/4

3. In view of the above said factum, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
