ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 324 and 506(i) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.81 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 23.04.2023 at about 08.30 p.m., the petitioner along with another accused person assaulted the de-facto complainant and also caused injuries. Hence, the case.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

CRL OP(MD). No.8356 of 2023 4.It is seen that the petitioner is arrayed as A2 in this case. There is a family dispute between the family members. Therefore, the petitioner attacked his own mother and his brother. The injured is still taking treatment as inpatient. That apart, the petitioner has involved in three previous cases. Therefore, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. 5.Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that the injured is still taking treatment as inpatient, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
