Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 no to change any mutation in the revenue records in respect of Land Nos. 331/1, 331/2, 331/3, 331/4 and 331/5 of an extent of 1.73 Acres situated at Konapattu Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District which was assigned to the landless poor people through assignment order by the fourth respondent based on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.08.2020.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "For the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 no to change any mutation in the revenue records in respect of Land Nos.331/1, 331/2, 331/3, 331/4 and 331/5 of an extent of 1.73 Acres situated at Konapattu Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District which was assigned to the landless poor people through assignment order by the fourth respondent based on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.08.2020."

2. It is informed by Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 to 4 that no mutation of records have been done with reference to the above survey numbers and the same continue to remain only in the name of Rasu, son of Subbiah, the petitioner herein.

3. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Further, the writ petition is premature, since it is only a perceived threat. No costs.
