Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, directing the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and property of the petitioner.

ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and property of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is the father of the third respondent herein. The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent is making frequent trouble claiming right over the property,which is his residential house. He has executed a Will in favour of his third daughter, namely, Muniswari. The petitioner and his wife are currently residing in D.No.4/171, TTC Nagar, Uthangudi, Lake Area, Madurai. The third respondent has trespassed into his house and demanded the petitioner to execute a sale deed in favour of him and when the same was denied by him, he threatened the petitioner. Hence, this petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in C.No.32916 of 2021 and during the course of enquiry, the third respondent appeared before the enquiry officer and gave a statement https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10563 of 2021 that he will not make any trouble to the petitioner and accordingly, it was closed on 27.07.2021. The petitioner also gave a statement to the effect that no further action is necessary by accepting the undertaking given by the third respondent.

4. Let the closure report be circulated to the learned counsel for the petitioner. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the complaint given by the petitioner came to be closed on 27.07.2021, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
