This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No. I, Pudukkottai to dispose the complaint in S.T.C.No. 5 of 2021 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 1/4
2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case. Based on the complaint of the petitioner, a cheque case has been registered in STC No.5 of 2021 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pudukottai. The transaction took place in the year 2020 and the case is pending from the year 2021. Therefore, seeks for speedy disposal and this petition has been filed. 3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass orders without issuing notice to the respondent.
4.Since the case is pending from the year 2021 and considering the nature of offence, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pudukottai to complete the trial proceedings in STC No. 5 of 2021 as early as possible without giving long adjournments, beyond 1 week.
