ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Pudukottai to dispose of the complaint in S.T.C.No.7 of 2021 within stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case. The respondent borrowed money from the petitioner and issued a cheque for a sum of Rs.9,00,000/- and the same was dishonoured. Therefore, she lodged a complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Pudukottai and the same is pending in S.T.C.No.7 of 2021. So far, no trial has been commenced. Hence, she filed this petition for speedy disposal of the petition.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the respondent, is inclined to pass orders.

4. Since the case is pending from the year 2021 and considering the nature of the offence and the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Pudukottai to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.7 of 2021 as early as possible without giving any long adjournment beyond one week.
