ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the second respondent to expeditiously complete the enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law against the fifth respondent, on the basis of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.10.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the complaint was filed against the fifth respondent, seeking for initiation of action under the Tamil Nadu Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules. 3.The allegations set out about by the petitioner is all about corruption. In order to punish an employee for corrupt activities, evidences are to be produced and an enquiry is to be conducted. If at all the petitioner possess any documents or evidence, the same may be submitted before the appropriate authorities for initiation of appropriate action against the alleged corrupt activities, if any. However, in the absence of any evidence, the High Court cannot issue a direction to the authorities to initiate action. 4.With this liberty, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
