This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.388 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the trial has been over and all the accused persons were acquitted on 01.04.2022 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivaikundam. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioners has become infructuous. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
