ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner had availed mortgage loan from the respondent Bank. He had also deposited the original title deed. The mortgage loan has since been cleared. But the title deed could not be returned because it appears to have been misplaced or lost. The petitioner therefore moved the Banking Ombudsman. The Banking Ombudsman vide communication dated 25.05.2021 had set out the directions which will have to be complied with by the Bank in such cases.

3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Bank states that they would adhere to the directions set out in the communication dated 25.05.2021 issued by the Banking Ombudsman. This shall be done within a period of eight weeks.
