: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct election for the 2nd respondent society in a free, fair and proper manner by following the procedure prescribed as per the Rules 52(A) and 53 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, 1988, by appointing additional election observer as Video-graphing the election on 11.08.2018, based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2018, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

Admittedly, the petitioner is an elected member of A-2936 Solavandan Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, Solavandan, Madurai District. is with respect to the further election of the office bearers, namely, President, Secretary, etc. We are of the view that this Writ Petition cannot be entertained on mere apprehension. If the petitioner has got any grievance on the election already conducted as well as the future one, electing the office bearers, his remedy lies elsewhere.

2. The Writ Petition is dismissed with the above observation. No costs.
