O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 05.09.2020.

2.Heard Mr.R.Mathiyalagan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon the complaint dated 05.09.2020, given by the petitioner, the second respondent has initiated an enquiry in C.S.R.No.640 of 2020, dated 12.09.2020. During enquiry, since the petitioner herself withdrew her representation by mentioning the reason that as she has to approach the civil Court, the second respondent has closed the enquiry. The said statement is recorded.

CRL OP(MD)No.10245 of 2020 4.Therefore, in the absence of any complaint, this Court cannot direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection. 5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
