When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that sand mining operations are completely stopped. Therefore, in the event of any sand theft/illegal sand mining, the petitioner is at liberty to give a complaint to the jurisdictional police and the revenue authorities. 2/5
