This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.40 of 2024 dated 25.02.2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent and to file a final report.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 40 of 2024 and the investigation is completed. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and the respondent police also completed the investigation and seeks one month time to file final report, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of this order.
