O R D E R
The petitioner has sought for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 4 and 5 to carry out necessary corrections in the revenue records and issue patta in the name of the petitioner's grandfather Ramaiah Chettiyar.
2.The petitioner's father had approached the second respondent by filing an appeal for necessary correction and the said representation was favourably considered and the second respondent as early as on 06.02.2015, passed an order, which was also endorsed 2/5
by the third respondent's proceedings dated 20.04.2015 as well as 23.11.2016, directing the corrections to be carried and patta to be issued. It is now contended that respondents 4 and 5 have not complied with the orders of the second and third respondents. The petitioner has given a representation to the third respondent on 24.02.2025.
3.Considering the fact that the respondents 2 and 3 have already passed orders in favour of the petitioner and directed necessary corrections to be carried out by respondents 4 and 5 even as early as in the year 2015, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents 4 and 5, to implement the orders of the second and third respondents within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subject to the corrections being carried out, necessary patta shall be issued by the third respondent thereafter. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four [4] weeks, thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.
