This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant permission and provide police protection for conducting 6th day festival at Punitha Soosaiyappar Church, Panagudi, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, scheduled to be held from 5.00 a.m. on 27.04.2025 to 2.00 a.m. on 28.04.2025 based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) for the respondents would submit that they already considered the representation of the petitioner and granted police protection from 22.04.2025 onwards. Now, the police personnel were deployed in the temple festival. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition becomes infructuous.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and the Page No. 2 of 4

respondents also granted police protection, recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
