The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to fix a time frame and complete the enquiry for disposing of the birth and death registration applications by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2019.

2.With reference to the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, the applications filed seeking birth or certificates are to be dealt with under the provisions of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 and the Rules framed thereunder.

3.In view of the above, the authorities are bound to follow the procedure as contemplated. It is needless to state that all such applications received are to be disposed of as expeditiously as possible without causing any undue delay.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
