*********** [Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition on a factual premise that she has been considered under general category as against the women category. The petitioner is one of the candidates, who contested in the election, but, failed to get elected under the general category.

2. Admittedly, the election is over. What is going to be held tomorrow is the selection of the Office Bearers, viz., President, Secretary, etc. Therefore, the grievance of the petitioner is with respect to categorization. Thus, we are of the view that inasmuch as the election is already over, the only way open to the petitioner is to invoke Section 90 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983. Thus, we do not find any merit in this Writ Petition. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is given two weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to raise a dispute before the Registrar of Cooperative Societies. The petitioner is also given liberty to move appropriate interim application before the aforesaid authority. As and when the same is filed, the Registrar concerned shall consider and dispose of the application seeking interim order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of application from the petitioner.

3.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
