ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to refrain from interfering with the day-to-day affairs of the petitioner's kitty club, Nagercoil and based on his representation, dated 13.05.2024.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.Such relief cannot be granted by this Court. The respondent police is having every right to ascertain whether any illegal activities are taking place on in any club. In any event, if the members of the club are playing cards or doing some illegal activities within the campus of the club or in the guise of the club, the respondent police is having every right to interfere and register the case.
