Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 5467/ 2023 : This petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to accept the surrender of the petitioners before the learned 3rd Additional Sessions Court(Special Court for the exclusive trial of PCR cases), Madurai in connection with the Crime No.112/2023 on the file of 2nd respondent police and to consider the bail application filed by the petitioners on the same day. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. K.K. Samy, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. R. Suresh Kumar, Government Advocate (Crl. Side), for the respondents 1 & 2, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of 15 days as fixed in the Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5467 of 2023, dated 24.03.2023. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD). No.7362 of 2023 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, the time for surrender by the petitioners before the concerned Court is extended by three weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
