The petitioner, with a grievance that the respondents Police are harassing him under the guise of enquiry, has approached this Court seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent not to harass him.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is a notorious accused and he has involved in three criminal cases and therefore, the respondents Police, in order to ensure the peace during the election time, made an enquiry whereabouts of the petitioner and they have not harassed the petitioner.
