... Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Order 47 Rule 1 & 2 r/w Section 114 of C.P.C., praying to review the order dated 11.10.2022 made in W.P. (MD)No.20923 of 2021 on the file of this Court insofar denying backwages treating the petitioner as Guest Lecturer working on teaching hour basis, grant backwages on consolidated pay from August 2020 to the petitioner.

ORDER

The writ petition filed by the petitioner was allowed. Backwages was denied. While denying backwages, I observed that payment is made only based on the teaching hours put in by them. The petitioner seeks review of the order on the ground that he was paid on consolidated monthly pay and he was not paid on hourly basis. I had no where 2/4

observed that the petitioner is an hourly paid guest lecturer. Be that as it may, the submission of the petitioner's counsel is that the petitioner was a guest lecturer who was receiving his remuneration on consolidated basis per month.

2. For this reason, there is no need to review the order passed by this Court to clarify the petitioner's status. In the light of the submission made by the petitioner's counsel, the Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
