ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 417, 294(b), 376, 506(i) of IPC and 5(1) r/w 6 of POCSO Act, 2012, in Crime No.14 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 14.07.2018, the petitioner compelled and threatened the victim girl and had sexual intercourse with her. The victim girl is aged about 16 years. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the victim girl loved each other for more than one year. It was also known to the defacto complainant, who is the mother of the victim girl. Now the defacto complainant compelled the petitioner to marry the victim girl.

4.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the age of the victim girl, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
