Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The prayer made in the writ petition is that this Court should restrain the authorities from registering additional local cable operators in Pungampatty village. I wanted to know whether there is any provision of law which provides that only one person can be registered as a cable operator for a given area. My attention is not drawn to any such provision of law. There is no agreement between the parties also to that effect. In these circumstances, I am not in a position to grant the relief as sought for. The writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
