To Extend time for 2 weeks period to pay cost of Rs.5000/- to credit of Government of Tamil nadu CMPRF in IOB Secretariat Branch Chennai - 9 as per the order of this Honourable High Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.7549/2022 on 25.04.22 and thus render Prayer in CRL OP(MD). NO.7549 of 2022:- This Criminal Original Petition filed Under Section 482 of Cr.p.c. To call for records relating to the FIR in Crime NO.271/2020 dated 18.10.2020 on the file of the 1st Respondent and QUASH the same as against the petitioners/Accused NO.1&2 and thus render justice.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.C.SUSI KUMAR, Advocate for the Petitioner and of MR.A.ALBERT JAMES, Government Advocate for the 1st respondent and MR.R.MAHESWARAN, Advocate for the 2nd respondent, this Court made the following order: This petition has been filed to extend the time for two weeks period to pay cost of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of Government of Tamil Nadu, CMPRF in IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai-9, as per the order of this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.7549 of 2022, dated 25.04.2022.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that due to the work load, the petitioners' counsel forgot to intimate about the order to the petitioners and the petitioners' counsel tried to contact the petitioners, unfortunately, he is unable to reach the petitioners. Finally, it was intimated to the petitioners only on 03.05.2022. Thereafter, the petitioners tried to pay the cost but the time has lapsed. Therefore, this petition has been filed seeking for extension of time.

3. Considering the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is allowed and the time is extended for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS I) // True Copy // /07/2022 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) TO
