ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.132 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 354, 354-A(1)(V), 354(c) and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 27.03.2024, when the defacto complainant was bathing, the first accused had taken photographs. On questioning the same, there was quarrel between them and the petitioner has intervened into the dispute and threatened her with dire consequences. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that since the petitioner has committed the offence, which is grave in nature, he is not entitled to grant any relief. Therefore, he prays to dismiss this petition.
5. Considering the gravity of offence and the submission made by the learned 2/3
