Prayer in CRL OP(MD)No.7526 of 2022:- Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.452 of 2017, dated 26/06/2017 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same the petitioners/accused Nos. 1 and 2.
ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the earlier order of this Court dated 27/04/2022 and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C.Susikumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.A.Albert James, Government Advocate on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.R.Maheswaran, Advocate for the second respondent, this Court made the following order:
This petition has been filed to extend the time for two weeks period to pay cost of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of Government of Tamil Nadu, CMPRF in IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai-9, as per the order of this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.7526 of 2022, dated 27.04.2022.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that due to the work load, the petitioners' counsel forgot to intimate about the order to the petitioners and the petitioners' https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CRL MP(MD)No.7193 of 2022 counsel tried to contact the petitioners, unfortunately, he is unable to reach the petitioners. Finally, it was intimated to the petitioners only on 04.05.2022. Thereafter, the petitioners tried to pay the cost but the time has lapsed. Therefore, this petition has been filed seeking for extension of time.
3. Considering the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is allowed and the time is extended for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
