This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed directing the respondents to grant 21 days ordinary leave to the petitioner's son, namely; Sivakumar, S/o Easwaran, (Convict No.23279, PID No.218729) confined at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, forthwith considering petitioner's representation.
2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. We have also perused the material documents available on record.
3. The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the police report inrespect of representation for granting leave received only on 25.04.2025. The representation will be considered in accordance with law, within a period of one week.
4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed off with direction to the respondents to consider the representation and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of one week, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No Costs.
