O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

2. The said representation was filed under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, seeking monthly maintenance from the fourth respondent and also cancellation of the gift deed. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent has not taken any steps to consider the said representation.

3. Mr. S.S. Madhavan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2026 would be 2/5

considered by the respondents on merits within the time frame fixed by this Court. The said submission is taken on record.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent.

5. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. There shall be no order as to costs.
