The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to refund the amount recovered from the terminal benefits of the officers concerned kept in sundry creditors' account as time barred account, within a stipulated time, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 03.01.2019.
2. The petitioner, who is an Association, namely, Pandyan Grama Bank Retired Officers Association, cannot maintain a writ petition in respect of the grievance relating to the terminal and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.5617 of 2019 pensionary benefits, which all are individual grievances of the retired employees of the Bank. Thus, the Association cannot maintain a writ petition with a prayer for redressal of the terminal and pensionary benefits related issues. Beyond that, Pandyan Grama Bank is a Private Bank and now merged with Tamil Nadu Grama Bank. Therefore, the individual aggrieved persons i.e.retired employees are at liberty to redress their grievance by filing appropriate petitions before the appropriate Court.
3. With the above liberty, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
