PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct the enquiry of murder of the petitioner's son, namely, Vanninathan at Ameri area in Dubai on 11.04.2020 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2020 in accordance with law for the suspicious death of the petitioner's son, within time frame stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India for the sixth respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 to 5.
2. The petitioner's son Vanninathan died on 11.04.2020 in Dubai. The petitioner suspects that it is a case of murder. He therefore wants enquiry to be conducted in the record. He gave a representation dated 30.06.2020 in this regard. Since the petitioner's request did not elicit any response, the present writ petition came to be filed.
3. Notice was issued. The sixth respondent was suo motu impleaded. The learned Assistant Solicitor General of India was called upon to take instructions. The learned Assistant Solicitor General of India has filed a typed set of papers enclosing a copy of the communication that has been received from the Ministry of External Affairs. The said communication has also enclosed the legal translation of the statement given by the Dubai Police, Ports Police Station, Government of Dubai. It is seen that Dubai police have concluded that the petitioner's son committed suicide by hanging.
4. In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the sixth respondent, it is not possible for this Court to give any further direction. Recording the submission of the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
