O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to grant police protection to conduct temple festival scheduled to be conducted on 13.06.2025 to 15.06.2025 in connection with the Arulmigu Shri Muthamman Tirukovil, Periya Ilanthaikulam, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District on the basic of the representation given by the petitioner on 14.04.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, due to dispute in conducting police festival seeking police protection, he has sent a representation dated 14.04.2025 against the respondents 3 to 6 before the respondent police, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 2/5

3.The learned counsel for the respondents 3 to 6 would submit that only the petitioner has ex-communicated the respondents 3 to 6 from worshiping the Temple.

4.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has no objection in the participation of respondents 3 to 6 in the temple festival.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is under consideration with the second respondent and they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.

6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass orders.

7.Recording the said submission that the petitioner's representation is pending with the second respondent, this Court directs 3/5

the second respondent to conduct enquiry upon the petitioner's representation dated 14.04.2025 and take appropriate action, in accordance with law, within a period of fifteen days, from the date of this order, after affording opportunity to both the parties. 8.With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
