PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to approve the appointment of D.Dhasammal in the post of B.T.Assistant (History) from the date of her appointment that is on 21.11.2019 and consequently, direct the respondents to disburse monetary and other attendant service benefits, including payment of arrears of salary from the date of appointment that is 21.11.2019 along with interest by considering the proposal re-submitted by the petitioner dated 10.08.2020, in the light of order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.7966 of 2018 dated 19.04.2018 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to approve the appointment of D.Dhasammal in the post of B.T.Assistant (History) from the date of her appointment ie., on 21.11.2019 and consequently, direct the respondents to disburse monetary and other attendant service benefits, including payment of arrears of salary from the date of appointment ie., 21.11.2019 along with
interest, by considering the proposal re-submitted by the petitioner dated 10.08.2020, in the light of order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.7966 of 2018 dated 19.04.2018.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner Management appointed one D.Dhasammal in the post of B.T.Assistant (History) on 21.11.2019 and the same was forwarded for approval to the fourth respondent on 10.08.2020. However, till date the resubmitted proposal was not decided by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the third respondent to dispose the petitioner's resubmitted proposal dated 10.08.2020.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to dispose the petitioner's resubmitted proposal dated 10.08.2020, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 05.01.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No akv
