This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to release the petitioner's two wheeler vehicle namely Pulsar, bearing Registration No.TN-47-AQ-5600, seized on 10.06.2021 pertaining to Crime No.354 of 2021, on the file of the 3rd respondent to the petitioner, based on his representation, dated 25.06.2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that pursuant to seizure of the said vehicle, an order of confiscation has been passed on 22.06.2021.

3. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate that pursuant to the seizure of the vehicle, an order of confiscation has been passed on 22.06.2021, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the confiscation proceedings, in the manner known to law, if so advised. No costs.
