O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner in the third respondent college with effect from the date of his initial appointment namely 14.08.2006 to 29.07.2007, with all attendant and other service benefits. 2.It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the proposal sent by the third respondent college which is the subject matter of this Writ Petition has been returned. The proceedings of the second respondent dated 06.12.2024, returning the proposal submitted by the third respondent college has also been placed on record. In view of the 2/6

same, learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks for a direction to the third respondent college to re-submit the proposal along with all requirements to the second respondent and a direction may be issued to the second respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.No prejudice will be caused, if such a direction is issued by this Court. The third respondent also remains, unrepresented despite service of notice on them in this Writ Petition. 4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to re-submit the proposal seeking approval for the appointment of the petitioner with effect from the date of his initial appointment namely 14.08.2006 to 29.07.2007, with all attendant and other service benefits within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the second respondent. The second respondent, on receipt of the said proposal within the stipulated time, shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the said proposal, within a period of twelve [12] weeks, thereafter.

5.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
