O R D E R
*********** [Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] In both the Writ Petitions, the petitioners seek release of their respective vehicles.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that case has been registered for the offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Inasmuch as the case has been registered for the offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, the only remedy open to the petitioners is to approach the Jurisdictional Court. As and when any such application is filed seeking release of the vehicles, the Jurisdictional Court shall decide the issue on merits and keeping in mind the scope and spirit of Section 21(4) of the Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals [Development and Regulation] Act, 1957.
4. The Writ Petitions are disposed of on the above terms.. No costs.
