proceedings in C.No.B1/Appeal 15/2020 dated 31.03.2020 and quash both as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct the respondents to provide all attendant, service and monetary benefits within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order passed by the second respondent, dated 05.12.2019 and the consequential impugned order of modification of punishment passed by the 1st respondent dated 31.03.2020 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to provide all attendant, service and monetary benefits within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was working as Inspector of Police in Pudukottai Police Station, Thoothukudi District and he was imposed the punishment on

05.12.2019. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed. Subsequently, the impugned punishment was cancelled vide order dated 14.02.2022.

3. In view of the above, no further order is necessary in this writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
