Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 9(m) and 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012, in crime No.689 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is running a tuition centre, where the son of the defacto complainant is studying. On 27.09.2018, the defacto complainant came to know that the petitioner along with one Arunpandi, who is studying there had sexually abused the son of the defacto complainant and other three students. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has nothing to do with the alleged offence.

4.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that the petitioner being a Teacher had sexually harassed the son of the defacto complainant and other students and the investigation is pending.

5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that the petitioner being a Teacher should not have involved this kind of offence and since the offences are serious, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
