Respondents Writ Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle a sum of Rs.10,10,000/- along with interest at the rate of 14 percentage per annum within the time frame that may be 1/3

fixed by this Honourable Court by considering petitioner representation dated 0607-2021. ORDER : This writ petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.HEROLD SINGH.S.C, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.A.K.MANIKKAM, Additional Government Pleader on behalf of the Respondents, the court made the following order:- The respondents are having the M-Book and other Forms and agreement.

2. The petitioner has contended that, based on the oral instructions of the respondents, he has carried out the work. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the authorities concerned. The authorities concerned in turn shall give the copy of the M-Book for his perusal.

3. In the meanwhile, if the petitioner is having any evidence to show that he has carried out the work and the same shall be submitted to the respondents.

4. By order, dated 16.08.2023, this court directed the 2nd and 3rd respondents to appear before this Court.

5. Today (i.e., 21.08.2023), Mr.S.Mariappan, Executive Engineer/2nd respondent and Mr.S.Avudai Nayagam, Assistant Executive Engineer/3rd respondent have appeared before this Court. The personal appearance of the 2nd and 2/3

3rd respondents is dispensed with.

6. Post the matter on 04.09.2023.
