PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to dispose the proceeding pending in Na.Ka.No.A2/1160/2025 as early within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.] By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.The petitioner seeks a direction to the 4th respondent to dispose the proceedings pending in Na.Ka.No.A2/1160/2025 as early as possible within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that he made a representation dated 10.02.2025 to the 1st respondent to form a committee representing by all community people for the effective administration of the temple, namely, Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Temple as well as to ensure the effective and peaceful

worship of the temple, which was forwarded to the 3rd respondent to take necessary steps. The 3rd respondent has forwarded the same to the 4th respondent, who, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A2/1160/2025, has taken steps to conduct peace committee meeting. Pending the same, the respondents 5 and 6 decided to conduct Chithirai festival on 08.05.2025 without abiding the law. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4.After going through the affidavit filed in support of this petition, we are of the view that the petitioner has not established any acceptable legal ground for the purpose of granting the relief as such sought for in the present Writ Petition. Therefore, we are not inclined to entertain this frivolous Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
