O R D E R

This Court, by order dated 08.04.2024, had disposed of this Writ Petition by directing the learned District Munsif, Kadaladi, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.42 of 2019 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.

2. Thereafter, the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Kadaladi (hereinafter referred to as the "Presiding Officer"), vide a communication dated 02.12.2024 bearing reference D.No.2290, sought extension of time to dispose of the suit. This Court, by order dated 10.03.2025, extended the time by a further period of six months.

3. Now, once again, the Presiding Officer, vide a communication dated 10.12.2025 bearing reference D.No.2669, sought a further extension of time by six months on the ground that he assumed full charge as District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Kadaladi, only on 01.04.2025; that during the trial, a counter-claim petition was also filed by the third defendant on 05.11.2025; and that due to the said circumstances, the suit could not be disposed of.

4. Considering the reasons assigned by the Presiding Officer, this Court is of the view that one more extension may be granted for disposal of the suit. Hence, the time is extended by a further period of six months from the date of the communication dated 10.12.2025.
