Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.

VEERA KATHIRAVAN Senior Counsel for M/S.VEERA ASSOCIATES, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN learned Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, while admitting the CrlA.,the court made the following order:- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 2.The petitioner herein was found guilty for the offence under Section 13 (2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act for receiving a sum of Rs.1,5000/- as bribe. The trial court has sentenced the petitioner / appellant to undergo two years rigorous imprisonment and imposed fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default three months simple imprisonment.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the fine amount has been paid and the trial Court suspended the sentence till 24.08.2018.

4.Considering the grounds raised by the petitioner in the appeal the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended until further orders on the following conditions:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(i)The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Prevention of Corruption Act, Madurai.
