PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to implement the order made by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.Aa1/1173/2016 dated 21.12.2018 and in the proceeding made by 1st respondent in O.Mu.M2/62/2019 dated 04.01.2019 within a stipulated time. [Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that a temporary mud road has been laid in the subject land for the purpose of movement of vehicles for the benefit of the Indian Space Research Organization, Kavalkinaru, Tirunelveli District.

2. Since it is for the public interest and to implement the project

of the Indian Space Research Organization, the relief as such sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted.

3. With the above observation, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
