PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to issue patta in the petitioner's name in respect of property comprised in S. No.330/5 (T.S. No.7/7), Madakulam Village, Thiruparankundram, Madurai District on the basis of the orders dated 22.06.2016, 25.05.2017 made in WP No.1480/2015, WP No.9996/2017 1/5

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to issue patta in the petitioner's name in respect of property comprised in S. No.330/5 (T.S. No.7/7), Madakulam Village, Thiruparankundram, Madurai District on the basis of the orders dated 22.06.2016, 25.05.2017 made in WP No.1480/2015, WP No.9996/2017 respectively and on the basis of the report dated 28.06.2017 in proceedings Na.Ka. No.747/17/B given by the 3rd respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned counsel for the fifth respondent.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the third respondent on 13.02.2017 for issuance of separate patta. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, informs the Court that on the basis of the representation made, the Tahsildar has referred the said representation to the Revenue Divisional Officer. The Revenue Divisional Officer would dispose of the representation within a period of eight weeks.
5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirumangalam/2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
